Ingleby Manor Free School Ofsted Report 2023

Following our recent Ofsted inspection on the 30th November and 1st December 2022, we are delighted to share with you the final version of our inspection report.   This report will appear in due course on the Ofsted reports website.

As this was a graded report, and like in 2017, we were given judgements in four key areas, and an overall grading.  I am delighted to reveal that we were judged ‘Outstanding’ in three of these areas and ‘Good’ in the fourth.

Quality of Education                Good

Attitudes and Behaviour         Outstanding

Personal Development            Outstanding

Leadership & Management.   Outstanding

As the overall judgment is limited by the Quality of Education element, our school received an overall ‘Good’ judgement.

To receive ‘Outstanding’ judgements in any of these categories requires a school to perform exceptionally well within them.  These judgments are a reflection of how far the school has progressed since its previous inspection in 2017 where we were judged ‘Good’ in all categories.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the school for the exceptionally hard work they have put in over the last five years, our SAB for their unwavering support and drive for excellence, our parents and carers for providing the inspection team with resoundingly positive feedback. And, last but not least our students.  They were exemplary throughout the inspection, a true credit to the school and yourselves as parents and carers.

It is a privilege to be the Principal of Ingleby Manor Free School and Sixth Form. Please rest assured that the leadership team will continue to work with all stakeholders to make the school the best it can possibly be.
