Steve Smith – Vice Principal

A specialist in Sport and Exercise Science, Steve has worked in Education since 2004. He graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a PGCE in education and a passion for improving opportunities for young people. Our young adults should leave school with the social, moral and academic skills necessary to take the next step on their journey with pride and confidence.

He has a wealth of leadership experience, working for over 10 years as part of Senior teams within three different schools. Steve has experience developing teaching and learning, shaping the school curriculum and upholding the core values of strong behaviour systems. He believes that ‘success is an attitude’ and all young people have the ability to shape their destiny.

As a new member of the team, he looks forward to further developing the policies and systems that are embedded within Ingleby Manor and driving further improvement in attainment and progress across the school.
