Re: Returning back to school – COVID-19

We hope you have had an enjoyable Autumn half term break and that your child is looking forward to returning back to school tomorrow.

In preparation for their return, it is recommended that students undertake a COVID19 lateral flow home test. Students have been provided with an additional pack of 7 tests to take home prior to half term.

Positive Test Result or Symptoms

If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or your child is presenting with symptoms of COVID-19, they should isolate and undertake a PCR test at a local test site. Students who receive a negative result are permitted to return to school. Students who receive a positive result must isolate for 10 days in line with the instructions as advised via the NHS.

If your child is isolating pending a COVID 19 test or have tested positive for COVID 19, you must notify the school attendance team via email to: attendance@inglebymanorschool.org.uk

COVID 19 Vaccines (12-15 year olds)

As of yet we have not had a confirmed date from the immunisation team as to when they plan to administer the COVID19 vaccination programme in school. We expect this will take place in the coming weeks and we will contact all parents once we have a confirmed date with further details and the link to the online consent form. In the meantime, if you wish to arrange for your child to receive their COVID-19 immunisation at one of the local vaccine centres, these can now be booked directly on the NHS website.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to keep Ingleby Manor School a healthy and safe environment for all.
