Health Update - Coronavirus

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the current situation surrounding the Coronavirus, we thought it would be useful to share with parents the information we have received. Please find below a link to Public Health England, which provides advice to people who have recently travelled to specific geographical areas.

Public Health England continues to encourage good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene measures and recommends:

  • Washing hands regularly but especially after coughing or sneezing and prior to eating.
  • Washing hands with soap and water or using alcohol rub
  • Covering the nose and mouth with a disposable tissue when sneezing, coughing, wiping or blowing your nose - think ‘Catch it, Bin it, Kill it!’
  • Not sharing cups, cutlery etc without washing in detergent first.

You may also find the information in the poster generated by Public Health England useful:

The situation surrounding the Coronavirus is likely to develop and change in the weeks and months ahead. We will follow government, public health and local authority advice and will keep you informed of necessary changes or updates as they may occur.

Your sincerely
